I like feedback to my work to be...
thoughtful, creative, and something that can actually help me. In my high school the peer-editing was a total joke. Nobody wanted to hurt anyone elses feelings or criticize their writing skills so they just edited the grammer and said "good work!" or something like that. I think it would be great though if the feedback that I recieve here is something that I can really use. I think it is most productive when it is specific and to the point. So I can realize mistakes that I make and go back and change them.

I agree. You shouldn't worry about hurting others' feelings during feedback. I mean, you shouldn't throw in personal attacks but if you are honest, that is good feedback.
