Feedback
I like feedback to my work to be relevant and on time. One thing that I really don’t like is when a teacher doesn't mark my paper at all, but gives me what seems to be a very arbitrary grade. It is hard to change things when you get B, and you have no idea what the teacher actually thought about your paper. It is nice when the paper is marked up and I can see exactly why I got the grade that I received.

I like when a teacher explains the grade as well. How can we improve if we don't know what they didn't like?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree with you. It's hard to become a better writer if you don't know what you are doing wrong.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. If there's no information on a paper other than some grade, how are we meant to get any better?
ReplyDeleteAmen. I hate it when I get a paper back with a bad grade and no explanation.
